We tried a few devices before Tractive - One just wasn’t impressive and the other was a nightmare. Literally the day we got these collars I was certain we had gotten it right this time. It is easy to set up, easy to use, and it’s got real time alerts that let us know that once again one of the babies has wandered too far; viewing their movement history, We can see their patterns and tendencies, and best of all we can go right to where they are hiding when it’s time to come in!If I had to offer any criticisms, it would be that the device is a tad bulky, but not too bad and not a dealbreaker, and while there is a sound feature on the device, it is practically inaudible and has not been useful yet.

I can’t recommend this product enough. This is my third GPS that I purchased for my dog. The first was Findster- while worked ok you needed to be close to your pet for it to work. It fell off her collar at a beach and even using the find function it couldn’t be found. I called the company and was told I would get a 10% discount on a new one - I was furious so I purchased an apple air tag. Again works well but you need to be close to your pet and also the pet can’t be moving … so not an option for me - I purchased the Tractive based on a recommendation from a friend. Works extremely well regardless how far I am away from the dog. Battery is good. Will last me a week if I don’t use the live mode which would only really be needed If dog was truly lost - but most of all the customer service was best ever. My dog ate the charging cable and I called to see if it was covered by the customer care I purchased. I was told no - not on accessories - no problem I would of ordered another one as it was the fault of my puppy and not a defect but one was sent to me - free of charge. Amazing service. Amazing product and the price point is very reasonable for the piece of mind this product gives me.

Bought tracker about 2 years ago for my curious cat. It was very easy to set up and has helped me find my wanderer several times. Recently they came out with one specifically for cats. I bought it and love it!! Smaller and thinner and much easier to get on him. Connected to my WIFI battery lasts 7 days sometimes more. Charging cable is very easy to use.Gave my old one to my sister, who was going on vacation and leaving her dog with a friend. She said it set up in less than 10 minutes. She was thrilled she could check on her fur baby while on vacation. Made her trip much more fun. Really love this product and customer service is top notch.

Tractive is incredible! I live on an island with spotty internet service so I took the tractive device to several areas on our island and was always able to get a signal. VERY IMPORTANT when your very best friend has gone on a walk about.

What’s GPS for, if it’s not for tracking your adventurous cat? Fab product, brilliant app.For best results, use cable ties to attach the unit to a proper cat harness (the type for putting on a lead). The harness is much more comfortable than having the unit on a collar, and there’s less chance of losing it.
